ReNEW Outside
The ReNEW OUTSIDE (REO) program will offer an opportunity for former ReNEW program participants to complete the program on the outside. Many who start the program make great strides but are released prior to their program completion date. The REO program will offer virtual sessions to accommodate the mobility needs of the participants. In addition, former graduates may attend content specific classes throughout the year as refresher courses.
We will strive to reduce as many barriers as possible. An individual curriculum program plan will be created for each participant at the first face to face orientation session. They will receive their program supplies during this session. A review of the work completed while in-cell will direct the course work for their REO program.
The participants will be able to complete the work at their own pace, with required milestones and goals built in along the way. Curriculum will consist of two types of classes; pre-recorded core class content and virtual face to face instruction. Several one on one virtual check-ins will be required to ensure they are staying on track. Homework will be submitted remotely to a drop box type process and grading and feedback returned to the participants for their review.
Upon successful completion of their work identified within the program plan, participants will be eligible to receive their diploma and participate in a program completion ceremony. Ceremonies will be scheduled once per month. Guests and families will be encouraged to attend.

We will begin a waitlist for those interested. Selection will be made from the waitlist as space becomes available. We will have a very limited number of spaces at first but will ramp up over time.
Selection will be made based on the following criteria:
Best fit for this option
Participated in ReNEW for 5 weeks or more inside
Ability to work the program online with a phone or laptop
Ability to meet face to face twice per month.
Classes can be completed at your own pace, assignments made weekly.
Duration of program 4-6 weeks
Graduates who want to have a refresher (as space is available)
